Vintage Antique Authentic Lenci Doll 22" Red Hair Signed on Foot. VV955

Description

A beautiful and tall early handmade Lenci doll with pretty red mohair curls, side-glancing brown eyes and a simple corduroy and turtleneck outfit.  The paint on her eyebrows, lips and nose is still bright.  She is signed on her foot (see photo), but is a bit unclear saying Lenci or the doll's name or perhaps the name of the maker.  Her head, legs and arms are felt and mobile. She has two closed fingers on one hand (suggesting that she was made in the 1930s).  The other hand has three fingers sewn together.  I'm not sure if this is original, but the thread could easily be removed if not.  One shoe strap has been pinned and needs a few stitche - the button is still there.
Her condition is very good to excellent.  She is dusty and her hair could use some straightening.
