    Description

    This is a vintage American cloth doll, probably circa early 20thc.  She has a handstitched face with embroidered eyebrows, nose and mouth, with buttons sewn on for her eyes.  Her body is cloth, her shoes sewn on and enhanced with red ribbons.  She wears a costume consisting of several bandanas and an apron. This has faded with time but I think adds to her charm.  Earrings are sewn into the bandana on her head and a metal ring at the back would allow her to be placed over a nail for display.  She stands 13" tall and comes from a nonsmoking home.
