Up for auction is a Type 1 Original Apollo 8 1968 “EARTHRISE” Moon to Earth Photograph Rockwell NASA Red AS8-14-2383 8 x 10 On A Kodak Paper. This item came from the man who collected the Apollo 13 capsule from the waters.
Color Photograph of a view of the Earth from the Moon. Photo taken from lunar orbit by astronaut William Anders on December 24, 1968, during the Apollo 8 mission. A Great Part of American Space Exploration History! Some damage on left middle, see pics. Not sure if it’s repairable, will leave that up to the buyer. Shipping includes insurance.
