    Description

    The Incredible Journey of Apollo 8 Flight Recording 33 1/3 LP NASA DuPont X-RARE. Condition is "Used". Record shows some light scratches, and sleeve shows some staining. Not sure how the record plays, but the value is in the items rarity. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
    Dupont promotional record (33 1/3 rpm) vinyl disc with in-flight recordings from NASA's Apollo 8 mission to orbit the moon. Dupont manufactured the Teflon coating that protected the wiring used in the command module for Apollo 8. In 1968, they had this vinyl record produced to commemorate the historic event. It was only given to Dupont employees; it was not sold or given away as a souvenir, so this record and sleeve are quite rare.
    Incredibly rare and super cool piece of Apollo 8 history!
