These are 3 rare pieces of Space Exploration and Moon Landing Space Age Mid-20th Century Memorabilia / Ephemera
These are restaurant style paper placemats that were commonly used in diners and restaurants during the time period.
They measure about 10" x 14" and have great graphics and subject matter.
These placemats are new old stock and were never actually used in a restaurant. They were salesperson samples that would be in a sample book that would be shown to prospective customers to purchase for use in their establishment. As such they may have small staple marks where they were attached to the original sample book, but they do not distract from the historical subject matter.
The three placemats with their headings and subject matter follows:
-(1) "THE SPACE AGE" has a diagram of a 3-stage rocket and a section of "Did You Know" facts.
Please note that the stock number, name, and color are printed on the reverse side of the placemat
-(2) "3 Steps to Outer Space" has sections describing the Project Mercury, Project Gemini and Project Apollo Missions
-(3) "THE MOON" with facts about the Moon and a diagram showing a mission "To The Moon and Back"
These are in very good condition from a private collection and have been stored in a cool dry environment. See the acctahed pictures of the actual items being offerd as part of the description. Shipping is via USPS First Class Mail in a cardboard mailer.
