Recently - due to some particular customer requests, we redesigned and currently offer it for sale again. This machine has a repeatability within 1mil, that is, if you load a pcb and line up the stencil (which is very easy with our integral x,y,theta and z adjustments - then you can eject the board on the linear shuttle and re-load it and the image is locked back in the exact same position - good within 1-mil. We do this with carefully engineered movements - all provided by ball bearings, and spring loaded systems to remove hysteresis and backlash. This system is designed to do Fine Pitch SMT quickly and accurately. We have sold over 400 of these system in our history - and the design has been recently updated. What's great about this machine? Well first off, it sets up very easily with the open, top loading stencil table. The sequence is intuitive: Tool up your pc board, in approximately the center of the tooling plate, shuttle the tooling plate in, lay the stencil and align it while it's freely floating on the riser surface. Once you line it up to the board, clamp the stencil on the no-slip surface. Then if you have the semi-automatic version, you move trigger pucks to the extremes of the print area. This machine shown uses a precision Permalex Edge Hand Squeegee. This is a top quality professional printing system, not like a cheap clamshell machine.
