SIGNED NEIL ARMSTRONG Limited Edition Print by Paul Calle - APOLLO 11

Description

For sale is a signed limited edition lithograph of Neil Armstrong based on a drawing by artist Paul Calle. Calle was the only artist chosen by NASA to be present when the Apollo 11 crew prepared of their launch to the moon, the morning of July 16, 1969. A limited edition of 1000 numbered reproductions of Paul Calle's graphite pencil drawing was signed by both Calle and Armstrong when it was presented at the National Air and Space Museum on December 23, 1976, to raise money for the Charles Lindbergh Memorial Fund.
Measuring 19 x 29 inches, the print is signed by Armstrong and double signed by Calle. It is numbered 106/1000.
The print is accompanied by its original informational brochure featuring a picture of Calle and
Armstrong
signing the prints.
The print is framed, attached to the mat with archival tape at the edges. It shows a line of moisture stain at the center as well as light scrapes/scuffs in the lower area. The matting job hides some of these defects. Otherwise in nice condition.
