  • Condition: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA/BOEING MSFC Engineer that worked on Saturn/Apollo to the Shuttle Missions and after his retirement was Archive/Curator at the Space and Rocket center. Photo is a NASA Original Negative Derived MSFC MASTER - Type II and is in Very Good condition with some minimal storage/use wear. A little aging around the edges and bottom left corner has creasing but does not go through to the back side (see picture 7) and could easily be framed to cover. Please see all Pictures...

    Description

    This recent find comes from Estate of Retired BOEING & NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Aerospace Engineer that worked on the early Saturn/Apollo to Shuttle Missions - NOTE: After retirement previous owner was a Archives/Curator at "THE SPACE and ROCKET CENTER" (SPACE CAMP-Huntsville, AL.) Where he also was able to Obtain a large Collection of Purged Archived items if after notified original donors did not re-claim them.  Listing is for a 1969-70 PSA Certified Hard to Find RARE NASA APOLLO 11 ALDRIN ON THE MOON ORIGINAL (NEGATIVE DERIVED MASTER PHOTO).  Type II Stock paper Photo 8"x10.5" issued to Marshall Space Flight Center #AS11-40-5903
    .  Produced from the Original Negative these were usually used to produce the other #'d photos you see listed (Red and Blue #'s). The back reads Negative Number 00952 Class Type U 8/69 Size B Lab 8 and OFC 6 with Description 21-80 Astronaut Aldrin walking near LM, footpad in lower right corner. Apollo 11. Photo is in Very Good condition with minimal storage/use wear and has some aging around the edges and bottom left corner has some creasing but does not go through to back side and could easily be covered when framed. NOTE: Between 1969 and 1971 there were 5-6 Master photo sets created at MSFC for the original Scientist / Engineers that worked with Werrnher von Braun in the early Stages of Saturn/Apollo thus the purple "1st Generation-Master" stamp.
