    RARE AESOP FABLES MOVIE CHARACTER DON THE DOG and COUNTESS CAT DOLLS. You are bidding on two scarce character movie dolls from 1930 Van Beuren Fables. You will get Don the Dog and Countless Cat. They are in good condition for their age with minor wear and some staining throughout. Countess and Don have velvet bodies. They both stand quite well and tail loose on back that needs to be restitched. The Countess dress is worn and not sure if she had a tail. Don has his manufacture stamp on the bottom of his shoes and Countless must have faded over the ears. They measure 14 inches tall and have movable arms that both go up and down together.
