Pyrex Laboratory Glassware 50ml Tube, Catalog Number 8240
For sale- a Box of 11 Pyrex Laboratory Glassware 50ml Tube, Catalog Number 8240.
I suspect these round bottomed tubes are designed for use in a centrifuge as 50ml is a very common size in swinging bucket rotors.
The box should hold 12 but instead of an 8240 the 12
th
tube is instead an 8400 40ml, still with a round bottom but a completely different top as pictured.
I guess it is possible these are new and just look a little dingy from being stored in an open box forever, but let’s call them used just to be on the safe side.
As long as you have done your homework relative to any intended application I cannot see a reason for these to be returned.
