    Primitive Antique Doll, Folk Art.--Emma 1817.  She's 26" from the top of her head to the tip of her feet.  She's made from ornasburg, muslin, and cotton.  She stained with coffee.  She embroiders "123 ABC Emma 1817.  In the 1800's when they made dolls, no eyes, nose or mouth. He body is stuffed compact.  She wear a little handmade dress, and pinafore.  Around her neck is a key.  Maybe to her house, maybe to her heart.  ???
