Outstanding Antique 13 1/2" Stockinette Cloth Smiling Ryasan USSR (Russia) Doll

Description

Listed here is an outstanding antique 13 1/2" stockinette cloth smiling Ryasan, USSR doll in very good condition. She has a beautifully painted smiling face.  She is wearing black and dark green check printed cotton skirt with a wide black cotton band at the hem and a red cotton apron insert in the front.  Her white cotton peasant blouse has stenciled on embroidery on the sleeves.  Her pinafore spron of red and tan print with a wide band of tan cotton at the hem has a heart-shaped opening at the back.  She 's wearing a maroon cotton babushka with a band of cotton print around the edge and a white cotton slip and panties.  This is a fantastic doll that makes me smile every time I look at her!
Cloth tag on slip: “MADE in SOVIET// UNION // Ryasan district woman”
Her woven sandals are deteriorating, but the lacings still are there.   There are some small dirty marks on the hem of her apron.
Condition is "Used".
