    Description

    This listing is for 2 pieces of Apollo Program heatshield. They were purchased in auction by a former McDonnell Douglas employee who passed away. I unfortunately don't know much about their provenance, beyond the auction tag. The pieces have clearly been used to some extent, but full disclosure I am not aware if these were in a test flight or in an actual Apollo mission. Regardless, it is an amazing piece of space history. (I have two other pieces to be listed, but they will not include the auction tag like these will).
