    Description

    8 NASA APOLLO 11 Photographs on 'A KODAK PAPER' (watermark on reverse). 8" x 8" photographs. For Sale as a LOT of 8
    This lot of NASA photographs was purchased by me at the St. Petersburg Antiquarian Book Show in Florida in 1999. This lot has the iconic US flag with Aldrin and LEM photograph. Then the distant shot of the same which is my favorite.
    Original Chromo photos released AFTER the blue and red serial numbered photos in '69. These '70 or '71 at the latest as 'A KODAK PAPER' watermark, which these all have, stopped being used in 1972. In addition, these all have the machine made graphite mark 1/8 inch from side margin. This mark allowed the 'eye' in the cutting machine to precisely allow the roll of A KODAK PAPER stock to be cut. Only original NASA Chromogenic photographs have this mark, and all marks look exactly alike on these photographs. The condition is very good on three photographs that have one or two small chips on surface. Five photos are Near Fine. One, with Aldrin descending the LEM's stairs is encapsulated and authenticated by PSA grading co. This service costs 9 for one photo.
    Examine all photos. They're amazing and would make a fine gift or position in a collection. Dealers note. This is an opportunity to acquire 8 Apollo 11 original photographs in one Lot.
