Leitch CSD-5300 Clock System Driver
The CSD-5300 Master Clock Driver combines a high stability oven-stabilized quartz reference. By itself, the CSD-5300 is specified for a maximum error of about one second per year, with no operator intervention. The CSD-5300 features an RS-232 interface that allows this Leitch unit to communicate directly with computers to provide time, date, and system status. The 5300CI Computer Interface module allows a PC type computer to interface directly with SMPTE or EBU time code. This simplifies the task of locking the PC clock to accurate time of day when executing software in automated systems.
