    Description

    Glass centrifuge tubes can be used to fractionate plastic-incompatible suspensions in low-rcf spins. This one is not labeled but the graduation markings look like other Kimble Kimax centrifuge tubes. It most resembles a newer model 50 mL tube (Catalogue Number 45186-50 from DWK) but with several noteworthy differences: this item is graduated to only 40 mL (it can clearly hold 50 mL, but that would be too full for an angled rotor), it has a polished rim not a beaded rim, and this item is one tube not a case of twelve. The scale is graduated from 0 to 10 mL in 0.5 mL divisions, and from 10 mL to 40 mL in 1 mL divisions. There is a spout for easy decanting.
