    Description

    Vintage Keramos R Capodimonte 11” (to top of lid ball) Cobalt Metal Gold Tone Swing Handled Lidded Wine Jug Pitcher w/ Floral Design. This gorgeous artwork has gilt highlights and a beautiful hand painted white and purple floral design signed by the artist on front and a smaller hand painted pattern on the back. The is attached to the pitcher by a metal ring along the rim opening. The opening is approximately 5.25” across. The interior is finished with a white glaze which mines it was meant for use with food products and not just for looks. This stunning porcelain is in good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use which does not detract from its overall elegance. There is some loss of gilt along lid rim, finish loss on the bottom of the spout which someone has touched up, some wear of the hand painted pattern on the back. No cracks, crazing or chips observed.
