Hyatt Model - Rockwell (NAR) Apollo Command Service Module  – Good Condition

Description

Apollo Command/Service Module (CSM) with escape tower model made by the Walter J. Hyatt Company for North American Rockwell.
Model is made of injected-molded plastic and metal (escape tower
lattice structure
).
Command/Service Module dimensions
are:  10 ½ inches in height and 4 inches in diameter,
The overall model height is 21 inches from t
he base and top escape tower.  The base is 7-inch in diameter.
Decals which have yellowed (common issue with this model but are mostly intact) and represent the crew side hatch, windows, and attitude control rocket engines of the Command Module (CM), and additional structures on the Service Module (SM). There is some minor chipping to decals (please see pictures).
All attitude control thrusters are present on the CM
The Launch Escape System (LES) tower and lattice support structure are very good condition. There is some chipping to the LES decals.
The SM engine bell is visible through a clear viewing section at the base. The circular plastic base has a large decal that reads..: "Apollo Spacecraft – North American Rockwell." The base, CM, SM and escape tower are all detachable.
