German Capodimonte Style Hand Painted Shepherd & Shepherdess Figurine Group
Early 20th century hand painted Capodimonte style figurine group of a shepherd with a walking stick, and a lady in a Colonial/Georgian dress with a lamb/sheep. Marked on the bottom with a pseudo / spurious Capodimonte style crown N mark in underglaze blue. Probably made in Germany.
Has some wear to the gilding and a chip to one of the encrusted flowers on the base and a couple chips to the leaves on one of the tree stumps, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
