state laws
that change the definition of "lead-free" plumbing that are more strict than the federal laws. This item contains standard AWWA waterworks brass that does not meet the new lead content laws in California (AB1953), Louisiana, Vermont (S.152), and. Maryland  law (HB.372).
Most of these new state laws have exceptions for industrial use or irrigation when not used for human consumption, however we cannot give legal advice on the exceptions in these states.
