5 (4 DIFFERENT) RARE VINTAGE 'KENNEDY SPACE CENTER' STICKERS
This week on Ebay we are offering this nice vintage group of 5 Kennedy Space Center stickers.
These have no date on them, but based on the clothing of the young boy and the sparse, undecorated buildings, they appear to be from the late 1970s, the very early years of the Space Shuttle.
The Astronaut is wearing a late era Apollo spacesuit suggesting a time period after the 1969 Moon landing.
The Vehicle Assembly Building looks sparse without it's Flag and Logo, which it now wears proudly.
There are 5 stickers in this lot, 4 different and a pair of the one with a Bald Eagle overlooking the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB).
One is of a young Boy standing next to a fully suited up Apollo 10 or 11 Astronaut.
One is of a Rocket launching over the local swamps of Cape
Canaveral
.
One is what looks like a drawing of a very early Space Shuttle attached to its Rocket, rolling out of the VAB.
The earliest Space Shuttle, Enterprise, was unveiled in 19776/77, suggesting these stickers are from around that period.
Finally, there are 2 of the Eagle watching over the VAB.
They are 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" in size. They are stickers, not pictures or cards. They are on thick stock paper, like early photographs. They are marked 'Fasson ~ Fas Cal Marking Film' on the back side.
CONDITION:
The overall condition is quite good, considering their age. No bubbling or creases. There are a few small 'dots' of dirt on a few of them, but not bad. The corners are sharp and the 'glue' is assumed to still be good, as the backs show no sign of separation. See the pictures for the best sense of condition.

NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has played a pivotal role in NASA's various missions.
In the 1950s, while still under Air Force control, it was home to the Vanguard Missile program and then transitioned to home of the Mercury and Gemini missions.
It was the launch site for the first human journey to the moon. Since then, it has been the starting point for hundreds of scientific, commercial, technical and military spacecraft. It also served as a launch base for the Space Shuttle program, which was developed in California.
