Description
NEIL ARMSTRONG. Photograph of Buzz Aldrin descending the ladder of the lunar module during the successful Apollo 11 moon landing taken and personally owned by Neil Armstrong. The photograph was inscribed by NASA Life Support expert Harley L. Stutesman to Armstrong who used it for research and lecturing on the Apollo 11 Primary Life Support Systems during his professorship at the University of Cincinnati: “Sorry about the Pictures. If you need them, let me know. H.L.S.”

The black and white scanned photograph measures 11” by 8.5”, in fine condition with poor quality from the scanner, encapsulated in a Collectibles Authentication Guaranty holder with the header from “The Armstrong Family Collection”, and accompanied with a signed letter of authenticity from Armstrong’s two sons, Rick and Mark, acknowledging the photograph came from the Armstrong family collection.
ENCAPSULATED IN A CAG HOLDER WITH THE HEADER FROM “THE ARMSTRONG FAMILY COLLECTION” AND ACCOMPANIED WITH A SIGNED LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM ARMSTRONG’S SONS
Personal items belonging to Armstrong are virtually nonexistent and we were unable to locate any available for sale before 2018. A wonderful historical piece of the famous Apollo 11 moon landing photograph depicting the second man on the moon and taken and personally owned by the first man on the moon.
