    Ludwig was a company that produced optical products before the war, and later merged with Meyer-Optik, Zeiss Ikon, etc. to become VEB PENTACON.
    The Meritar is a triplet triplet lens consisting of 3 elements in 3 groups, and is characterized by its unique bokeh and clear depiction
    It is a lens with a description similar to Meyer-optik's domiplan, which has similar specifications to the triplet 50mm F2.8.
    With triplet, not all aberrations can be corrected, and there is a characteristic blur due to the residual astigmatism, and when released, spherical aberration causes a slight soft focus tone
