    Description

    This unusual and beautiful mixed media Capo di Monte porcelain figurine features an old woman sitting and peacefully winding yarn. Her chair and a stool rest on a terra cotta tile floor. This is an impressive limited edition piece, as the yarn spinner balances on one thin rod of porcelain. It's 9 " high and the base is 5" x 7 1/2". Condition is excellent with no damage or broken parts, not even with the spinner. There's a bit of glue residue on top of the yarn she's holding--not sure why and I haven't tried to remove it. It is marked with the blue crown and N mark and numbered on the bottom 0/374. It's also stamped on the stone "floor" by Gianni Merlo, master craftsman. Shipped USPS Priority Mail.
