Badger Meter Milwaukee USA Steampunk Decor

This is a really neat one of a kind piece. A Badger Meter MFG Co. water meter cover. It has been mounted on wood and turned into a steampunk desk deco or ashtray. I cant see any signs of it being used as an ashtray, but it would make a neat one. The outer cover measures 3" across, the interior measures about 2 1/4".
