    Description

This listing is for a fragment of Beta Cloth which was flown onboard Apollo 7 - the maiden voyage of the Apollo program, and a triumphant return to space following the Apollo 1 disaster. This came from the collection of Lunar Module Pilot Walt Cunningham. Mr.
    Cunningham
sold me a flown patch from the mission, and this fragment came from that patch.
The fragment measures approximately .25" wide. It's been attached to an 8x10" professionally printed photo, using non-yellowing, archival-grade materials. In an effort to authenticate these as much as possible, I documented every bit of the process. I took photos of the original patch, including
    Cunningham
's certification. I then took photos of the edges being trimmed, along with each individual piece being cut from those strips. The winner will receive a document that includes these photos, along with photos of the original COA. I will also provide high resolution digital copies on request
. Each artifact will be numbered on the back, so you can match your specific item to the documentation.
Please refer to the photos for a closer look (you may not receive the exact number in the photos, but all of the items will be similar).
Thank you for viewing this listing!
