    Apollo 17 flown beta cloth
Triangle Apollo 17 flown beta cloth material swatch mounted on an 8x10 presentation certified on the backside. Originally from the collection of Gene Cernan.
The landing site selected for Apollo 17 was in the Taurus-Littrow Valley on the eastern rim of Mare Serenitatis. The primary objectives were: Obtaining samples of highland material and investigate the possibility of volcanism in this region. It was the last lunar landing, with Gene Cernan and Jack Schmitt leaving mankind's last footprints on the moon.
