    Description

Where were you when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon? I was in San Francisco and somebody yelled at me that we had landed on the moon, and I walked into a bar and watched on the TV. Then, after a while, like so many other folks that night, when I walked out I couldn't help but take a long look at the moon overhead trying to relate to me/here, astronauts/up there... This is four editions of Allentown, Pennsylvania's The Morning Call, "Lehigh Valley's Greatest Newspaper," July 21, 1969, July 23, 1969, July 25, 1969, and August 14, 1969. By the 14th we know them by their first names, Neil, Buzz, and Mike. All four issues are yellowed and a bit tattered at the edges. The first two are possibly entire editions, the second two are the front page sections. They are fascinating because they are right there with all the wonder and excitement of the event.
