    Description

This is a genuine United States postage stamp issued in 1969 to commemorate the Moon Landing and the First Man on the Moon. The stamp is notable for multiple color frame shifts resulting in an extension of the ladder beyond the frame line above and a decentering of the blue Earth as well as other misplacements of the light blue, yellow and red colors. A shift of the colors seen on the frame of the lunar module, the white space below the Earth, and the position of the US flag emblem arm patch on the astronaut's neck instead of his shoulder are also prominent. The normal stamp shown to the right of the error stamp in the second scan is for comparison purposes only and is not included unless you use the Buy It Now option. The stamp is in mint, never hinged, post office fresh condition. FREE clear plastic protective display holder included. Thanks for looking!
