Apollo 11 - 1 Square Inch of the Gold Kapton Foil From Apollo 11 Flown in Space

Description

One square inch of the gold foil - known as Kapton - that covered the Apollo 11 Command Module.  The foil is mounted to a 1" square piece of acrylic. The Kapton can be peeled off if you wish.
The Kapton was given to a NASA employee responsible for making presentation displays with the Kapton such as the round "hockey puck" displays containing some flown Kapton. This piece comes with a copy of the original COA. Next to the words of the NASA employee, Sandy Clarkson, well known in the field of space collecting, has written: "Authentic copy of Bill Whipkey A-11 Kapton COA".
A superb memento of one of history's greatest adventures.
