Up for auction is this beautiful, Brazilian, felt doll by Joao Perotti from S. Paulo Brazil. She has a lovely painted face with brown side glancing eyes, a rosy complexion, and dark red, bow lips. She has black curly hair that peaks out from under her head wrap.
She wears gold metal earrings with a red, plastic, bead necklace. She has an orange felt shawl with yarn fringe trim, a blue felt skirt with floral and branch appliques, a cotton floral blouse and apron, with rick-rack felt trim.She has cotton pantaloons under her skirt and black felt shoes with wooden soles and floral appliques.
On top of her head she carries a straw basket filled with felt fruit and flowers.

Size: 16" including basket, 14" without it.
Condition: This pretty gal has some small moth holes on her ankles, her hand and a larger one on her elbow. Her blue skirt has fading and there are some tiny moth holes to a few floral appliques and a larger one on her shawl. Her peach head wrap has fading and some dirt on the back. One of her black felt shoes has a repair with a piece of felt overlapping shoe (hardly noticeable).
