Antique or Vintage Old American Folk Art Cloth Rag Doll / Prairie Doll - I can't put an exact age to the doll, but you can tellby her clothing she is vintage and possibly bordering on antique
Stunning craftsmanship, she is handcrafted from top to toe, even the buttons on her dress are hand sewn French knots. She is approximately 15 inches tall
The doll has hand embroidered facial features and her hair is made from grey yarn, her body appears to be stuffed with something soft, she appears to have been machine stitched
Her outfit consists of long knickerbocker panties, a lace trimmed underskirt, very soft leather pumps, a pale blue full skirted dress, apron which could have been made from handkerchiefs, and a cap with ribbon ties. Her clothing has been part hand stitched and part machine stitched
Condition - excellent vintage condition, she has a small dusty mark to the top of her face, I have not tried cleaning her. I am not a doll expert, but I am happy to help with questions regarding condition etc
