Antique French Hay Doll with Papier Mache Hand Painted Face.
One of a kind, real treasure!!!  Remarkable detail when it comes to her clothing! This listing is for an antique french doll dressed in French Traditional Clothing. You are able to see the hay filling in some spots were the fabric deteriorated due to its age. The doll is wearing very nicely made clothing, maroon, black and gold color, the lace and velvet is still intact. I believe that this doll it is very old because the fabric is discolored. The face has some very minor paint loss on the nose, one on the cheeks and one of the eyes, I tried to take close pictures to capture it. Doll shoes on the bottom has FRANCE on them.The doll is under 12" tall. I do have more pictures, please just let me know if you are interested and I can send it to you.
