An Early Grumman Apollo Lunar Module Signed by test pilot Scott MacLeod

Description

A striking early Grumman Lunar Module Contractor model. This two-part model is on a round 10" black plastic base with the Grumman and NASA logos in blue.
The model accompanied with the COA from Chief Test Pilot Scott MacLeod:
"The Grumman LM Contractor Model included with this COA is the original contractor’s model owned and used at presentations by Scott
MacLeod
during
the Apollo space program and was used to show many people the makeup, section and operation of the Lunar Module during my time with Grumman.
As a Grumman Director of the Lunar Module Consulting Pilots, I worked closely with the astronauts during their training and was given this item during my time with Grumman before the Apollo moon landings. It has been in my personal collection ever since the mission until being offered for sale."

The model signed and inscribed: "Scott MacLeod Test Astronaut” by Scott MacLeod on base in silver ink.
The model is in good condition and is a true piece of Grumman’s Moon Program history. This model stands about 7" tall and sits on a 10" round base.
