    1972 Bronze Apollo XVII Art Medal Coin. This gorgeous medal is a tribute to the 17th mission of the Apollo Program commandeered by astronauts
    Cernan, Evans and Schmitt
    . The medal was produced by the Medallic Art Company of Dayton, Nevada (now Medalcraft Mint, Inc.), and it comes in a box along with an information sheet.
    Stated on the reverse of the medal are these very poignant words: "The Earth Is the Cradle of Humanity, But Mankind Can Not Live in His Cradle Forever!"
