  • Condition: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA/BOEING MSFC Engineer that worked on Saturn/Apollo to the Shuttle Missions and after his retirement was Archive/Curator at the Space and Rocket center where purged items when not claimed by Original donors he was able to take ownership. Picture is in Very Good overall condition with minor bend that can be seen in pic.#7 and was originally donated in the mid-late 1970s by Redstone Arsenal where the ABMA was located. This was one of the previous owners prized possessions - (As can be seen by the Acrylic block protector) - Back is stamped "Property of Alabama Space & Rocket Center" Early name of the US Space & Rocket Center until 1989..     This recent find comes from Estate of Retired BOEING & NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Aerospace Engineer that worked on the early Saturn/Apollo to Shuttle Missions - NOTE: After retirement previous owner was a Archives/Curator at "THE SPACE and ROCKET CENTER" (SPACE CAMP-Huntsville, AL.) Where he also was able to Obtain a large Collection of Purged Archived items if after notified original donors did not re-claim them.  Listing is for a 1958 REDSTONE ARSENAL "ABMA" Authentic low gloss Black/White Badge photo - 3.5" x 2.25" (Photo was part of a large donation to the Space Center from Redstone Arsenal in the mid 1970's.  This was part of a Exhibit/Display in the 1970s - 80s at the "ALABAMA SPACE & ROCKET CENTER" and bears that stamp on its back with a very faint penciled 2 in bottom corner. Note: Living just 3-4 miles from Marshall Space Flight I'm able to do a couple of NASA picks a month and have been collecting for over 10 years - This is a one time piece.  Picture is in Excellent Condition.
