17 NASA USAF VINTAGE MAPS POSTERS BOOKS OUTER SPACE STARS PLANETS+TRW(1951-1985)

Description

This recent find comes from Estate of Retired BOEING & NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Aerospace Engineer that worked on the early Saturn/Apollo to Shuttle Missions - NOTE: After retirement previous owner was an Archives/Curator at "THE SPACE and ROCKET CENTER" (SPACE CAMP-Huntsville, AL.) Where he also was able to Obtain a large Collection of Purged Archived items if after notified original donors did not re-claim them. This listing is a large VINTAGE 1951-1985 collection of 17 SPACE MAPS, POSTERS and BOOKS ranging from MERCURY/GEMINI/SATURN APOLLO through Space Shuttle missions and include outer space, stars, astronauts and planets published by various companies/agencies including Department of the Air Force. Maps are various sizes (smallest is 13.5" x 19" - A Guide to the Stars and largest is the Rand McNally Official Map of the Moon - 53.5" x 48"). Maps produced by USAF, GE Missile & Space Vehicle Department, Van Dam, Hammonds and Rand McNally and one with TANG Brand Instant Breakfast Drink. All are in Very Good overall condition for use and age/storage with some expected wear. Maps have been stored folded and will be shipped folded. Books are all 5.5"W x 8.5"L with some markings and labels on a couple of the covers. 25th Anniversary of Space Exploration 1957-1982 is included.
